I found it interesting in the second part of this story how bad these children were acting in Esemes classroom. However, her teaching style was mush different than any other teacher. For example, when one of her students said something very profound, she then told the kid to pull down his pants then. The child then looked at her like she was crazy! Her ways of teaching seem inspiring to me because by reading the book I can tell that she cares for these children and just wants the best for them. Her ways of disciplining them may be different, However, they are very effective.
